We’ve had another amazing day! The sunrise service that the teens led at church was wonderful; the pancake breakfast at the church was as fun and delicious as always; and then the regular Sunday service and Sunday school was a blast too. Add in baskets of treats from the Easter bunny; and our morning was filled with happiness and joy! As we moved on to the rest of our day, it warmed up to around seventy; we had a lot of outdoor play time this afternoon; and our Easter meal was fit in around the play time at around two-thirty so that we could share that meal with our family and some friends before the weekend guests wanted to head home – or most of them did. Jaimie and Kaitlyn stayed late so that Jaimie could spend more time with Micah on his birthday; and they didn’t hit the road until sometime after dinner.
Our entertainment highlights this afternoon included biking the trails; canoe rides; and backyard games with cousins and friends. Once we were on our own with just Mom and Dad, we had a snack dinner; worked in the office; did a Magi lesson with Mom; and then we were sent upstairs for bath or Jacuzzi time. That brings us up to now as we do our bedtime computing and twin chat. We’re tired and ready to get some sleep; so that’s also all we have for this report. The countdown is now on to the end of college for Cassie and Michael, so stay tuned; since life is going to continue to be amazing for us as we get ready to have them back at home again!
