Ethan and Ehlana:
Happy 1st Birthday, Stuart Stone!
That’s our top news of the day, and we were involved in Stuart’s special day because we were at the late buffet birthday dinner party and helped out with the kids. The youngest toddlers were a handful; so the parents needed the help! We had a lot of fun too, and the party was a huge success; so it was worth being this tired as we’re winding down toward the end of our day.
As for the rest of our adventures, it was cold this morning, so Tai Chi was indoors again. Dad cooked up eggs and bacon and sides for breakfast; and then we had a busy morning at church and Sunday school that included our first blast of birthday fun with the Stone-Bassett clan. Since it wasn’t that warm this afternoon, Ehlana and I opted to play at the lab or archives after lunch. Mom and Dad were working in the office anyway, so that worked for all of us; and we got home in time to get ready for the dinner party – and our dates with Naomi and Aiden. That was actually official; and entirely because Naomi decided to take advantage of the chance for a ‘real’ date for all of us. Ehlana isn’t sure that we should count going out and basically babysitting kids for a couple of hours should count as a date night, but we’ll go with it because we love Naomi a lot! ;^)
Moving along, we didn’t get home again until after-nine; Mom did a Magi lesson with us; we took Silkie for a bedtime walk; and we just wrapped up bath or Jacuzzi time. We’ve had a really good day, and as we head into the last week of April; we’re feeling great! We’re down to about three weeks before Cassie and Michael will be home to stay; we’re going to get busier while helping to get ready for that; and then we expect life to get even better from there – including what we’ll hope will be a best-ever-so-far summer. Stay tuned, but that’s all we have for tonight; and it is time for us to wrap this up and get some sleep now.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
