Ethan and Ehlana:
Our day began early while seeing Dad out on his trip to the city. We had fun with that; had a nap; and then got started on our first school day of the week. Tai Chi was indoors; breakfast was standard fare; and then our academic adventures were fun and not even slightly newsworthy. It warmed up a bit today – into the mid-sixties, but we opted to play at the lab or archives after school instead of going out to play with our friends. We stayed there until nine o’clock while work-playing; Mom brought a picnic dinner to us that we ate while continuing Ehlana’s experiments and my archives studies; and Mom fit in some Magi lessons fun too as we took multi-tasking to entertaining levels.
That’s pretty much all we have for tonight – for our adventures. We took Silkie for a walk after getting home; and have been winding down since then with our usual bedtime computing and twin chat. Mom had a busy day while we were at school; and that was mostly at Cassie and Michael’s house because she needed to be there for some furniture and appliance deliveries. Cassie and Michael will still have a lot to do once they get home, but at least some of the basics will be ready for them – like having their bed set up. We’ll help them with the work once they’re here, and we’ll help Mom too between now and then, but let’s move on and we’ll have more on that once we get to those moments in the coming weeks.
The only other news we want to cover today is that Cassie and Michael are both going to basically be done with their doctoral and master’s thesis this week, and by that, we mean including presenting and defending their work. We won’t get into any details, since theses on linguistics or Economics would bore most future readers of our archives, and anyone that is into that sort of thing will be able to find those documents elsewhere in the archives. Cassie is brilliant, though, and her thesis is going to be published by the college press. That’s amazing, but don’t expect to find it on any bestseller list! ;^)
Okay, that’s enough for today. We’re ready to get some sleep; and we’ll want to be ready for the next couple of great weather days that we’re supposed to get tomorrow and Wednesday. Stay tuned; and we’ll move on and get to that down time now.
