Ethan and Ehlana:
Happy 12th Birthday, Nicole Johnson!
We didn’t get in on her happy day beyond the gift we sent to her; and our day has been fairly-quiet. Ehlana insists that our top news of the day was my family visit day with Naomi because it was a ‘date’ with her. We spent the afternoon with her parents and brother visiting her extended local family from lunchtime through to dinner at a total of three homes, and we had a lot of fun; so she’s probably right about that – if not for her reason for feeling that way.
We had a good morning from Tai Chi by the river through the church service and Sunday school. While I was out with Naomi, Ehlana had Mom and Dad to herself for lunch and dinner; Mom spent the afternoon with her at the lab while Dad got his work done in the office; and we’ve had a quiet evening at home since I got back that is ending early because we all need to get some sleep ahead of the early wake-up call to see Dad off on his week in the city.
We’ll have more on that and other news with our next report, but we really want to get to sleep soon, and don’t really need to add more to this report; so, until next time...
