Ehlana and Ethan:
We had a bit of rain this morning, but the
warming continued; and the mid-sixties temperature this afternoon was great for
another long bike ride on the trails.
Cassie, Michael, and May went with us for that ride – and we took the
trailer so that Silkie could go along and then run around at the park too.
That’s the highlight of our day; and we’ll
again admit that the lack of variety in our days is getting tedious – a fact
that a lot of people all over the world can relate to right now. Sure, some kids will at least pretend that
they’re happy to be out of school for so long, but most of them aren’t likely
being honest about that; since being stuck at home most of the time – or all of
it for the kids and teens actually in isolation – really does get boring even
with all of our electronic toys.
Then again, most of those kids would think
that we’re nuts for being bored when we have our junior Magi Master talents,
but May is staying with us; so playing with those abilities isn’t an option
most of the time anyway.
We’re just rambling on, since we really don’t
have anything else to write about tonight.
Our local lockdown will continue; so we don’t expect very much to change
this week. Suggesting that sort of thing
in the past has led to unexpected events, but we shouldn’t really hope for
that; since the last thing we need around here right now – or anywhere else –
is renewed trouble with Gwyneth Hathorne or any goons she may have recruited
since our last confrontation.
It is definitely wrong for us to wish just
a bit for that kind of excitement, but we can admit that; and also hope for the
best even when that can be very boring!
Okay, we really do need to wrap this up
instead of rambling on about nothing – so we’ll do that and head for our beds
now instead.
This is Ehlana and Ethan Proctor; live from
the hidden home of the Magi of the Light – and May the Magi Force be with you!
