Ethan and Ehlana:
Our top news of the day is that Grandma and Grandpa have returned to the sunny south – and are glad of it; since it is still frosty-cold today with a high that barely reached single positive digits. The snow had moved on, so there weren’t flight delays beyond some issues with the cold for a few planes. Cassie and Michael headed south early this morning too – and quite a bit further; since their final destination was Panama. They’ll be working there until Sunday; and have a lot on their schedule for both businesses and charities. We’ll have more on that as we go along this week; and all we have to add for our favorite travelers is that Grandma and Grandpa aren’t the only grandparents in our family heading south today.
As for our first day of school, we’ve had a blast with our friends; most of us are happy to be back at school; and most of us opted to stay indoors despite the lure of fresh snow due to the cold. That’s why Ethan and I opted for lab or archives play time after school; and then we were indoors for dinner and a work evening that included a vid chat with Cassie and Michael once they were in Panama City and at their hotel. Their travel day was long and not as much fun as our day has been, but they are happy and looking forward to getting to work in the morning.
Ehlana and I are looking forward to some quality nap time, so while we had fun with Mom and Dad; Mom also sent us up to bed early too because we’ve had a few too many late nights over the past two weeks and it has caught up with us. Even junior Magi Masters can have that happen, and self-healing from fatigue can’t be the answer every time. We actually have orders for getting off to sleep that start very soon too; so that’s all for tonight.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
