Happy 3rd Birthday, Karyn Johnson!
January seems to be a big month for next-gen kids in the Johnson clan, but we’re also missing out on the fun; and leave it up to our cousins and their families and friends to take care of making their birthdays special. As always, we were in on the family gifts that were sent to Karyn; and we haven’t heard yet whether her day has been awesome or not yet because we’re just transitioning from school to the start of our weekend; and haven’t gotten any news from any of our favorite adults yet.
Our day has been uneventful. We spent the school day getting ready for mid-term exams – which for us is really just a larger round of tests meant to prep us for writing exams once we get to high school. Okay, Naomi and Aaron are there this year, but it isn’t a big deal for any of us; and our study plans are all about helping our friends and for show; since we’re all ready for the testing already. Studying is still a big part of our plans for the weekend, but we’re going to have a family-and-friends’ night that Mom and Dad are hosting; Ehlana and I are going to have extra friends here too; and we need to wrap this up so that we can help out with the work – including helping Mom with cooking our dinner contributions. We’re going to keep at least some teens and possibly some cousins overnight; so the rest of our story for today can wait for our next update. We really do need to go now; so that’s it and we’re out of here and back to the family-and-friends’ fun!
