Happy 2nd Birthday, Rochelle Ryan!
Our Johnson clan cousin has hopefully had a good day, but our involvement was only with a family gift; and we don’t have any news about her party or day as of when we’re writing this report.
The top family news of the day for us is that Cassie and Michael are back at their townhouse tonight after their mini-vacation; and they’ll be jumping right into their T.A. duties as they get ready for their final semester at college. While we’re thinking of them; we’re overdue for an update on their house. It got visited a handful of times while they were home for Christmas, and the interior work has come a long way. A lot of the major installs are finished – like the kitchen and bathrooms; so the place is really looking like a home. That still leaves a lot to do, but they are ahead of schedule; so we’ll be able to have it ready for Cassie and Michael to move in after they graduate in May.
As for our own day, the weather stayed frosty today, but we were indoors most of the time anyway. School was good; our band practice after that was a highlight; and Naomi and Aiden stayed for dinner before going with us to the first game night of twenty-twenty-three at the Inn. We had a lot of fun with that – though nobody in our family won any titles tonight; and then we collected Silkie along the way toward walking Naomi and Aiden to their homes. It was cold, so we didn’t drag that out; bath or Jacuzzi time was next on our to-do list; and now we’re winding down toward nap time.
That’s also all we have, and the sleeping part of our day sounds pretty good right now; so we’re out of here!
