Ehlana and Ethan:
Most of the kids and teens around here are most-excited about the imminent fall festival – especially now that the first rides have arrived and the midway set-up has started. We were busy with our academic adventures and our school band practice while that was going on at the park, but we did visit the park after our practice and before we headed for home in time for dinner. We brought our four best friends with us for that meal with Mom and Dad; and then we spent half of the evening doing our homework, having a group Magi lesson with Mom, and practicing the music we’ll need for our set at the Haunted Halloween Walk. After our friends went home – and we took Silkie for a walk while seeing Naomi and Aiden to their homes; we moved on to some charity work in the office before Mom sent us upstairs at eleven o’clock.
Ethan and I are winding down toward nap time now, but we’ve also been chatting for a while about our day and plans for the rest of the week; and we’ve had a heavier news night for our computer checks due to never-ending bad news around the world and various kinds of theatre meant to distract and divide instead of help anyone. While I’m tempted again to offer another rant or commentary, let’s just mention that nothing of significance has changed with any of the current conflicts and wars; our politicians are reaching new lows; and good news happens with everyday people doing extraordinary things while the powerful are too-busy enriching their own narcissistic lives at the expense of anyone that gets in the way of their desires and goals.
I’ll stop now, and we’re ready to sleep now anyway; so that’s all for this report.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
