Ethan and Ehlana:
We had a lot of fun last night from dinnertime through gaming at the Inn and on to our co-ed sofa sleepovers with our four best friends. Mom and Miranda won the senior title; and Ehlana wants to make sure that I also report that Naomi and I won the junior title. Yes, we have won before, but it is also fair to mention that the turnout for the gaming last night was very low due to the school break. Getting back to our story, after getting some sleep last night; we started out day with indoor Tai Chi and a hot breakfast; and then we – the teens in the house – decided to go with a chores morning to get most of our normal Saturday chores out of the way early. That work happened at several houses and two cottages; and then we had a quick lunch with Mom before going out for biking and park play with our friends and some cousins.
That pretty much brings us up to now and we’re just getting changed and taking care of some prep work for the family-and-friends’ dinner and play night that Mom and Dad are hosting. We need to go and help Mom with the cooking soon; so that’s all we have for today. Dad and Anna Marie will be home soon, and we like that the extra help is leading to easier work weeks for Dad as Anna Marie takes on more work without need for checking over her work; so they are actually expecting to cut back on time needed in the city soon too – or they’ll take turns with their work in Crystal Springs. That will be great for them – and for us; and we’ll appreciate the extra time we’ll get to have with Dad. We want to spend time with Cassie and Michael too before they head out on their next trip while we go back to school next week, and they are coming over to help out with the cooking too; so we’re out of here and back to our real-life adventures!
