Ethan and Ehlana:
Today was not a total repeat of our Monday, but only because we had our school band practice after the academic adventures that included more testing and project work; and it was a bit cooler today with the afternoon high only hitting sixty-three. That was still great for this time of March, but we didn’t get to enjoy much of the sun and warm while at school, home, or the lab.
It was warm-enough for a chilly Tai Chi workout by the river, so we loved starting the day with that peaceful blast of fun; we celebrated with a hot breakfast; and then got on with our day. We definitely repeated our evening lab or archives work-play – including the extra hours we ‘made’ with our time phasing; and only different for Ehlana because she moved on to new experiments based on the results from last night. It was a bit later by the time we actually got home tonight; the visit with Mom and Dad, baht or Jacuzzi time, and twin chat and computing has rhymed with last night; and we’re hitting the wee hours of the morning again too.
That seems different for us on school nights, but Cassie often worked and studied late – and still does that; so we can survive a couple of late work nights in a row. Surviving the daily bad news and political stupidity from around the world is more of a personal challenge for us; if only because of the emotional costs involved with wishing that we could stop and fix all of the problems in the world while knowing that we can’t make that happen anytime soon.
There are no actual, on-the-ground moves toward peace in any of the current conflicts; politics is just getting more divisive in a lot of countries including ours; and in most cases; both sides claim that their point of view is right and for the best for their citizens. Since basically none of them are actually trying to do what is necessary for peace and prosperity for anyone but themselves; we are rightfully skeptical. We’ll change our opinions on that the moment our leaders actually end all wars; eliminate nuclear weapons; make sure that all people in the world are healthy and happy; and clean up the messes we’re making of the environment around the world!
Quit laughing – unless you’re doing that in a future where all of that has actually happened and we get teased about his update by all of our favorite Magi in your now! ;^)
It is obviously time for us to wrap this up and get some sleep after that little blast of silliness; so we are out of here starting right now.
