Some favorite grandparents will be away for adventures in Arizona or elsewhere too, but our favorite Magi staying at home are sure to have a lot of fun anyway. We'll have all of the adventure highlights from home and away right here for you each day; so... ...Visit Witch Falls often to keep up with all of our latest stories; and Happy Reading! P.S. Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - January 7, 2025

Ethan and Ehlana:

We’ve had another very cold day with a negative-fifteen low this morning and a high of only seven.  The walk to school this morning was too-cold, but the weather didn’t keep us from snow play after school with our friends that included sledding on the ridge in the usual, kid-favorite spot.  That blast of frigid snow play was followed by a hot dinner and drinks with Mom and Dad that we warmed up with, and then Ehlana and I spent the evening at the lab or archives.  Mom allowed us to be there for three hours; we added in a few or five extra hours with a time phase; and then we came home for the night and only did a Magi lesson and snack break with Mom and Dad before we were sent upstairs.  Bath or Jacuzzi time was needed after the snow play; and then we kept busy with our twin chat and bedtime computing.

Ehlana is okay with me taking a news break after the last update, but we should mention that football is still a top chat topic with the guys as the new format for the college championship rolls along with semi-final matches coming up later this week and then the championship game happening on Martin Luther King Day.  There is also always entertainment news that is more for the girls; and we’re a bit out of the loop after going through the entire Christmas break without a single trip to the city for the latest movies.  We always catch up on them eventually at home and enjoy the advantages of our projector and screen, but it also isn’t the same as the big screen; and we do sometimes feel left out.  We will be happy to watch some of our friends’ new favorites, though, and just for the record; those movies include part one of the Wicked musical and the Moana sequel.  They’ve been box office successes, and while we don’t base our decisions on what we like by popularity; we have seen enough about these movies to be sure we’ll like them.  Disney, by the way, needed that win for Moana; since they’ve had their share of unsuccessful films again this year.  We’d offer suggestions to help the house of mouse, but they’ll never read our journals – and wouldn’t listen if they could do that.  Okay, if they could read our journals, they might want to make a movie or ten, but that will never happen either! ;^)

Okay, that’s all for tonight.  We’ve had an awesome day and we’re expecting the fun to continue all week, so stay tuned for our next batches of stories while we move on and get some sleep.

Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
