Ethan and Ehlana:
Exams are done; and we’re about to celebrate with our friends – at Sophia’s house; since she’s hosting the dinner and play evening and co-ed sleepover for the couples that will be staying for the night.
We had a blast last night with the birthday dinner at the Inn; the studying before and after the meal and birthday fun wasn’t as much fun; and then we stayed up too late with the co-ed sleepover once we came home after the studying at Caroline’s house. Details from the kid-free night that Naomi’s parents got to have aren’t needed or wanted by the kids, but we can report that Mom helped Miranda out with winning the senior title at the game night we missed while busy with the exams prep time.
As for our day-so-far, we enjoyed the start to our day with extra exercise buddies for Tai Chi and a hot breakfast; the last day of exams rolled along easily for us while some of our friends were stressed; and now they are ready to celebrate. We need to get over to Sophia’s house to help out with that – and the work that will go with all of the fun; so let’s wrap this up. Dad will be home tonight, and probably won’t mind the kid-free night with Mom while we’re away. Cassie and Michael continue to be busy with their work; and we don’t have details from today yet because they’re busy with a charity event that will be continuing until later tonight. They’re working again tomorrow; and will take Sunday off for sightseeing before moving on to the next country on their itinerary on Monday.
We’ll keep you posted on their adventures – and ours, but that’s all for today; and we’re out of here and ready to get started on some quality fun and games with our friends!
