***Heirs of the Magi News Flash!*** September 5, 2026 marks the 15th Anniversary of the Heirs of the Magi Blog! We want to take the opportunity to thank everyone for visiting and enjoying the adventures and stories from our favorite Magi Masters and their family and friends! We are also humbled to announce that just three months after reaching the one-million visitors milestone; we have now already doubled that number to pass the two-million milestone! That is a long way from where we started on September 5, 2011; and we are grateful for all of the support! Here in our magical little corner of the world, summer is ending and while Ethan, Ehlana, and their cousins and friends head back to school; most parents will enjoy the daily breaks while their work and play will transition into the normal fall schedules. Cassie and Michael will be getting ready for their fall work trip; and the adventures will continue if big and small ways as we head into the autumn months of 2026. Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - January 23, 2025

Ethan and Ehlana:

Happy 41^st Birthday, Liz Seager!

This is another early update, but we still have quite a bit to cover with not much time to do it; so let’s get started.

We had fun last night with Naomi, her family, and our study buddies while Mom was in the city, and thanks to the co-ed sofa sleepover; we also got to start today with my future mother-in-law’s birthday breakfast and related adventures. Tai Chi was skipped in favor of doing all of the work around that special meal; we had some gifts for Naomi’s mother; and the girls took extra time getting ready for the day. The six teens in the house needed to get focused on exams after that; and we kept busy all day with writing them or helping our friends with studying in-between the exams.

Caroline Carter is hosting the studying with our friends for today, and we’ll be there for parts of those sessions, but we’re also booked for Liz’s birthday dinner party at the Inn; and then Ehlana and I are going to have Naomi and Aiden with us for the night while Naomi’s parents get a kid-free night for one of their gifts. All of those stories can wait for our next update, since we really need to get going again – starting with a bit of studying at Caroline’s house before we need to go to the Inn. We will be skipping game night due to the studying, but then we only have one day left for exams; so we’re looking forward to being done with that extra work – especially when Ehlana and I also want to get back to spending more time at the lab or archives. We should add that Cassie and Michael continue to be busy with their work; they are making friends along the way; and have only had one minor drama issue that they handled without any major physical damage to the bad guys that erroneously believed that they were due compensation for ‘security’ that Cassie and Michael didn’t need from anyone.

That’s all we have time for right now; so we are out of here and back to the real world and the adventures still ahead of us with our family and friends.
