Happy 23rd Birthday, Adaira Wingborough!
The top news around town today is definitely related to Adaira’s special day; since Tommy Reynolds proposed to her and they are now engaged after dating and being together since last summer. They’re a match and we know more about their future than we’ll offer here; so keep an eye out for future updates that will involve them in the coming years! ;^)
With that somewhat-distant teaser for you to think about; let’s move on with our own news of the day.
We had fun with our friends last night; stayed up too late; and enjoyed just a handful of hours of co-ed nap time once we got around to that. Tai Chi by the river with the bonus exercise buddies was great; we had a hot breakfast; and then most of us split up for a chores or work morning with our own families. For Ethan and I, that included working on the yard and gardens; and that kept us busy until lunchtime. Mom set us free with a picnic lunch after that; we met up with some friends and cousins for a bike ride to Quarry Lake; and we spent a few hours there where we mostly played in or near the water while enjoying the sun and hot weather with a high in the low-nineties.
We’re home now and packing for our overnight plans that for Ethan will be at Naomi’s house while I’ll be with Aiden and his family. We’ll be having separate dinners too, but will meet up at the park for the co-ed ball practices; since we’re booked to help out with kid control. We’ll have those stories for you with our next update, but we need to get going again soon; so that’s all for today!
