Ehlana's and Ethan's Journals - July 9, 2024

Ehlana and Ethan:

Happy 3rd Birthday, Jessica Warren!

Happy 24th Birthday, Elliott Roberts!

We’re hurrying between our afternoon adventure – a canoe trip to the whirlpool; and getting to the park for our pizza picnic dinner and baseball practices; so we need to make this update another quick one.

Brianna is sure that her birthday adventures were a best-ever-so-far kind of day, and while we had a blast too; all of the work and help we put into making that happen for her was worth the effort.  The Quarry Lake parts of her day included all of her favorite activities; the barbeque dinner was awesome and crazy-busy; and then the only downside to the camping was that we didn’t get to have any co-ed tent buddies while the girls were with Brianna in her back yard and the boys were in our back yard.  Ethan, Aiden, and the other teen guys did not have as much fun while keeping the younger boys from bugging Brianna and her friends.  They did succeed in that effort; so they also earned bonus points and Brianna’s heartfelt gratitude.

As for our day-so-far, we started out with Tai Chi by the river that was co-ed; breakfasts were segregated; and then the two camps were packed up and put away because we all have different plans for tonight that will be indoors.  Most of us had chores to do for the rest of the morning, but we met up by eleven to hit the river for the whirlpool so that we could get there and back again in time for the ball practices.  We had most of the cousins and quite a few friends along for the paddling and swim fun; the weather has been awesome with a nigh near-ninety; and we had a blast whether on or in the river and with our picnic lunch.  Brianna’s birthday is over, but the canoeing was something of a bonus adventure for her; and we were happy to go along and help out with the junior kid control.

Now we really need to get to the park, and Ethan and I will be hosting a teen night for quite a few of our friends and a sleepover for our usual group of six plus Jayden and Susan.  Those stories can wait for our next update, and we really want to get to the park before the Pizzeria pizza arrives and the boys start demolishing everything edible; so that’s all and we are out of here!

Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
