Ehlana's and Ethan's Journals - July 17, 2024

Ehlana and Ethan:

Happy 3rd Birthday, Jacob Jennings!

Violet, Dillon, and their kids are helping out with Jacob’s special day, but other than delivering a family gift for their nephew-cousin and offering our best wishes; we haven’t been involved in that celebration.

We have enjoyed lots of birthday fun with Jennifer’s party and camping adventure last night, and the highlights included the Pizza picnic dinner at the park; the baseball practices; the campfire and dancing that we helped out with by providing the live music with Naomi, Aiden, Sophia, and Aaron; and the late-night teen chat and starlight swims in the river.  We didn’t have any co-ed sleepovers in the tents, but then we only had nap time available by the time we climbed into our tents anyway; so that wasn’t a big deal and we avoided any potential parental problems.  We get it that not all parents are comfortable with teen co-ed sleepovers for obvious reasons; and we can’t exactly explain to most of those parents why that isn’t an issue for junior Magi Masters.

Moving along, we had an awesome start to our day that included Tai Chi by the river and a bakery treats breakfast; we packed up our tents and gear; and we’ve spent the rest of the day-so-far working on chores so that we won’t have them to do on the weekend.  That ‘we’ included Naomi and Aiden; we worked at all of our homes; and the lawns and gardens and the rest of the work is now finished.  With Mom still in the city, we’re now getting ready for another night away – this time with me at Aiden’s house for the night while Ethan will be with Naomi.  The rest of our news can wait for our next update and we really want to get started on the fun we expect to have with Aiden or Naomi; so that’s all for this report.

Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
