Heirs of the Magi News Flash!

***Heirs of the Magi News Flash!*** The annual fall festival is now behind us, and Cassie and Michael are heading out on their fall trip - this time to the South Pacific! They'll miss out on the Halloween fun at home and the rest of the high school football season, but all of that time in tropical paradises will likely be worth those little sacrifices! Some favorite grandparents will be away for adventures in Arizona or elsewhere too, but our favorite Magi staying at home are sure to have a lot of fun anyway. We'll have all of the adventure highlights from home and away right here for you each day; so... ...Visit Witch Falls often to keep up with all of our latest stories; and Happy Reading! P.S. Thank-you to everyone enjoying our stories from Witch Falls as we have passed five-hundred thousand views!

Ehlana's and Ethan's Journals - July 6, 2024

Ehlana and Ethan:

We went with the campfire option last night with only some minor adult support and they checked in on the kids a few times too while mostly leaving the entertainment up to us for music and scary stories.  The barbeque dinner and the rest of our evening play time on, in, or near the river were great too; and after staying up too-late again; we wrapped up our day with some quality co-ed nap time.  Tai Chi by the river this morning was followed by a quick breakfast before some of us headed to the park to cheer for Faith and her team; and we continue to be amused to see that Faith is still getting underestimated even by some of her own favorite people as she led her team to another win!  Our family should be more-surprised with Zack and Eli as their team continues to be undefeated too, but as we’ve mentioned before, Sebastian and Caleb are more-serious players, and while Zack in particular doesn’t have a problem with leading the way for comic relief; he also doesn’t want to be shown up by younger cousins in actual competitions – or at least that is proving true so far this summer.

Lunch today was something of an eat-when-you-want deal that happened at several homes, and then our afternoon fun included canoeing, biking the trails, swimming, and back yard games ranging from volleyball to flying quad-copters.  Ethan and I are only at home right now for another transition toward dinnertime – another barbeque adventure hosted by the Carringtons.  After choosing the campfire last night; we’re also going to set up for an outdoors movie night; so we’re grabbing our projector and the screen we’ll tack up onto the side of the storage barn at our cousins’ place.  This will also be our last camping night in the Carringtons and Everetts back yards – though we haven’t decided where we’ll go next – or even if we’ll keep camping; since at least some of us are ready for the comforts of home – like Jacuzzi time and more-comfortable sofas for co-ed cuddle time! ;^)

We’ll figure that out eventually, but that is all we have for now and we really do need to get going again soon; so stay tuned for the next holiday weekend update; and we’ll get back to all of the love and happiness with most of our favorite people!

Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
