Ehlana and Ethan:
We had a lot of fun with our second camping night at Aiden’s house. The baseball practices went well; the pizza picnic was great; and our evening entertainment included some outdoor music play time by the river and lots of teen chat time to go along with moonlit swims and co-ed cuddling. Co-ed nap time happened too; so we have been very happy!
Tai Chi by the river was with Cassie and Michael again; breakfast was on-the-go and mixed in with the work that went with packing up our tents and gear; and then we ended up spending the morning doing yard chores instead of playing at the lab – mostly because we decided to get a jump on the usual weekend chores and wanted to do that ahead of some rain in the forecast. We mowed the lawns at three homes along with some gardening; and wrapped up in time to have lunch with Mom at Cassie and Michael’s house. Mom had fun in the city; and no details are being offered here beyond noting that she did some shopping, Mom and Dad went out to dinner with the Malloys, and Mom brought fast food home for Aunt Leanne – even though we’ll be in the city on Friday for our annual summer shopping trip.
That lunch just ended recently, and we’re at home to pack overnight bags because we’ll be at Cassie and Michael’s for the rest of the day and night – along with Naomi, Aiden, Sophia, and Aaron. We’re not exactly keeping up with that kind of news for Cassie and Michael, but we are taking a turn at hanging out with them and they are doing regular sleepovers with our younger cousins and their nieces and nephews; since they are very popular. That reminds us that we also haven’t mentioned that Kaitlyn is here in town and has started a summer job with Aunt Leanne, but we haven’t really spent much time with her; since our cousin is busy with that job and with spending time with Jeremy when they aren’t working. She’s officially staying with the Everetts, but that might change as we roll into the summer; since her family cottage will be ready by the end of the month and she might be able to stay there a lot – depending on whether chaperones are available or required by her parents.
Yes, Naomi would volunteer to help with that and bring Ethan along; so expect more on that story and potential for jokes.
Okay, we’re expecting the weather to turn wet soon, so it is time to wrap this up and get over to Cassie and Michael’s house for the rest of the day. The co-ed ball practices will likely be rained out tonight, but we are still hoping for at least some outdoor play time around the rain. Whether that happens or not, we are going to have an awesome rest of the day, so stay tuned for those stories while we get out there and live the adventures.
