Ehlana and Ethan:
We’ve had another hot, awesome day, and another early update is coming your way because we’re moving our camping over to Aiden’s back yard for a day or two. The buffet dinner at the Inn was great and so was the camping last night, and while we love the extra fun that goes along with camping with our cousins and their friends; we were definitely happy to have the smaller group along with a bit more sleep that included co-ed cuddle buddies!
Having extra exercise buddies again this morning was great too, but we need to admit that we didn’t wake up early and see Dad off on his trip to Crystal Springs. No, we don’t feel guilty about that – especially when there is a very good chance that Mom came up with an alternate goodbye for him that we definitely will pretend that we don’t know about and won’t include any details! After Tai Chi and breakfast, we packed up our tents and gear; our friends moved on to their own plans for the morning; and Ethan and I headed for the lab to work there until lunchtime.
We’re going to be working there regularly this summer, and while we do that, Aiden is going to be helping out at the bakery or with chores at home or elsewhere and Naomi is going to hang out at the salon a bit – though probably not really as a part-time job and also helping out at home with extra chores. We’ll be getting back together with them soon; so we need to move this along.
Mom had a quick lunch with us after we got back from the lab, and now we’re just getting ready to haul our gear over to Aiden’s house to set up our tents before we meet up with our friends for a play afternoon. There could be extra campers tonight too, but that hasn’t been decided; so we’ll offer more on that and the rest of our adventures stories from the rest of today with our next update. Stay tuned for that while we get back to all of the fun!
