Happy 4th Anniversary, Chris and Sadie!
We hope that our cousins have had an awesome day, but we didn’t have any direct involvement in their celebration.
Our day has been awesome, and while the triple-digit highs for the day were a bit too-warm, we loved all of the games and everything else we did at school; and our team actually won the overall points title while also helping our classes for Grade Seven and Eight to earn some prizes too. Cassie and Michael were there for the morning and running one of the games while Rowen and Tim took over for the afternoon; Mom took a three-hour lunch shift at the food booths; and we got to spend a bit of time with all of them while at the school with us.
After a lot of sun and fun, we had our friends meet us at home for a long swim to cool off; we ended up hanging out together until close to dinnertime; and then Naomi, Aiden, Sophia, and Aaron stayed with us for dinner before we headed to the Inn for game night. We didn’t win any titles for our family tonight, but we had fun; and then we were ready to head for our homes by the time we left the Inn. Ethan and I walked Naomi and Aiden to their homes with some help from Silkie; and then we came home and hit the tubs for bath or Jacuzzi time without any work or Magi lessons. We’re already wiped out without doing more, so that’s all for this report; and we are going to crash and nap for the rest of the night starting right now!
