Ehlana and Ethan:
The top local news might have been the weather, since a high nearing the mid-eighties in late-October is awesome! We certainly took advantage of the warm and sun at school with extra outdoor time, but we couldn’t do that after school while at band practice; and then we were busy at home with our four best friends as we brought them home with us for dinner and an evening of studying and more. Our homework didn’t take long and the meal was great, but our personal highlights of the day included a group Magi lesson; a music practice for Naomi and the Haunted Harmonies as we get ready for our set at the haunted walk on Saturday; and working on our Halloween costumes. We were tempted to keep our friends for the entire night, but decided to save up for the weekend; and our friends headed for their homes at around ten o’clock.
That didn’t leave us much time for any charity work in the office – so we used a time phase while keeping up with that work; and then we were sent upstairs at eleven o’clock. Now we’re winding down with the usual computing and twin chat time; and that’s also pretty much all we have for this report – for our stories. Cassie and Michael are having some challenges in Sudan while trying to help the people so desperately in need there, and that is different for them to see those problems in-person – or in one case; need to fight to protect a food delivery that they went on to get that first-hand experience of the challenges our partners in the region and country face every day. Note to bad guys in Sudan – don’t mess with our big sister and her very protective husband!
Moving along, there isn’t any good progress on the war fronts around the world, but there is a BRICS economic summit going on in Russia that we’re apparently supposed to ignore in our country because they’re becoming a trading bloc that could challenge our global supremacy; so they need to be our enemies – despite the fact that they’re on the way to including more than half of the world population as new countries are joining every year. Political discussions about cooperation and trade partnerships is radical compared to our own national politics heading into the elections in two weeks; so it is no wonder that our leaders can’t understand why all of those countries seem so excited and willing to work together instead of sharing the benefits that come with our policies of sanctions, war, and more against any country that doesn’t follow us blindly and obediently!
That’s enough of a rant for tonight. Ethan and I are ready to get some sleep now, and we really don’t have anything to add to this update; so we’re out of here and off to dreamland soon.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
