Ehlana and Ethan:
We’re enjoying yet another hot, sunny day; and that has worked great for our adventures-so-far – as well as for our camping plans for tonight with a small-to-medium gang of teens that Ethan and I are hosting. The top news for today is that Naomi and Samantha are among the girls trying out for the football cheer squad while Aaron is one of the new hopefuls for making the football team. Ethan and I went to the school with our friends to offer our support, but then we moved on to the lab or archives for the rest of the morning while Naomi was busy and Aiden helped out at the bakery.
The football team tryouts last all day, but cheer squad workouts are half days; so Naomi and Aiden met up with us for lunch; and then our afternoon fun has included a lot of swimming, some biking, and a long visit to the school to watch some of the football action. Now we’re getting ready for our camping plans that will likely include an outdoor movie instead of a campfire; and at least some of us are planning on co-ed tents once we do get around to some quality nap time. We’re only going to have Naomi, Aiden, Sophia, and Aaron with us for dinner, but the rest of our friends will join us for the rest of the night. That’ll include Samantha Norton, and while she’ll be with us for at least a couple of nights; that is mostly to help her parents so that they don’t need to come to town early in the morning for her cheer squad tryouts.
The rest of our news for today can wait for our next report. We need to get our gear out to our tents and then help Mom with making dinner; so that’s all for now and we’re out of here and back to living the dream that is our everyday awesome! ;^)
