Ethan and Ehlana:
This has been a damp day, and we’ve been going non-stop since Tai Chi that was indoors due to the showers. Our academic adventures were fairly-quiet. We had one test, but we’re also mostly wrapping up lesson modules and winding down toward the holiday weekend. Football and cheer squad practices were intense because we only have three days to get ready for the championship game; and I was tired by the time we headed home with our four best friends. Dinner was ready by then; we enjoyed that meal and chat time with Mom and Dad; and then the teens took care of the clean-up before getting started on our studying. There wasn’t a lot to do for homework, but we then moved on to a group Magi lesson and a music practice for everything from school band and teen praise team to our own band practice to get ready for our contributions around Christmas. That all took until around ten o’clock; our friends went home then; and Ehlana and I have been getting ready for bed with the usual twin chat and computer checks that we’re ready to wrap up now.
While we’ve been busy with teen stuff, Cassie and Michael are dealing with the time change as they get back to normal for working from home. They are also getting ready for the holiday weekend; and they are going to host the family dinner for the Proctors and Stones. We haven’t seen them today, but they have had lots of visitors – including Mom, Rowen and Tim, and random family and friends.
We aren’t going to do a major world news report – nothing important has changed today. The politicians continue to do nothing more than talk nonsense; the worst that is happening in the world continues without real hope for the true victims; and we continue to watch the horrors unfold with no end in sight. Maybe that will change tomorrow – however doubtful the chances are for that outcome.
For tonight, we’re just ready to get some sleep now; so we will.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
