Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - November 12, 2025

Ethan and Ehlana:

***RESTRICTED UPDATE***

Cassie and Mom have some details about the Dark Magi Master they’ve discovered on Monday.  Jacqueline Lecuyer is a fifty-four year old woman with a daughter and granddaughter; she has her own, private island; and we know that her daughter and granddaughter are not currently at home because only one person is currently using Magi power.  We still don’t know how they ended up in French Polynesia, but available public records suggest that the family has been there for centuries.  That’s really all we have for now – other than that the daughter’s name is Raquel and the granddaughter’s name is Monique.  Stay tuned; since more is sure to be coming for this story.

***END OF RESTRUCITED UPDATE***

We’ve had another busy day and it is getting late; so let’s get right to the news of the day.  The warm-up continued today, so while it was still frosty; we went out by the river for Tai Chi and then had a hot breakfast.  Our academic adventures weren’t newsworthy; and our football or cheer squad practices were tough as we get ready for round two of the playoffs.  Ehlana and I hosted the dinner and study session with our four best friends.  Mom did a group Magi lesson with us and we had some music fun too, but our friends headed for their homes at nine-thirty so that Ehlana and I could do some work in the office with Mom.  We used some time phasing, but also did a vid-chat with Cassie and Michael.  They did some island hopping today, and while they’re dealing with more rain every day; that isn’t keeping them from getting their work done and they are learning a lot from the people they are meeting and starting or continuing to work with on existing or new projects and partnerships.  We helped a bit with some of our work tonight – though we did charity work elsewhere too; since there is always more need pretty much everywhere in the world.

Even with the time phasing; we still worked until past-midnight; so now we’re running out of steam fast and need to get some sleep while we can.  The world and political news is rolling along with another round of distractions.  One of the top stories of the day is a recycle of the Epstein scandal – this time, a leak of suspiciously-selective and redacted emails trying to implicate President Trump in the scandal.  We have no idea of the truth and lies for that entire saga – other than that a lot of powerful people have gotten away with doing a lot of bad things and that they will likely never be accountable for those crimes until their own, personal judgments.  This is just another distraction to divert from real news; and there are new distractions every day.

On the war front, the destruction in Ukraine is continuing, and they have their own new distraction from those horrors – a corruption scandal that is taking down some of the leaders involved in a one-hundred million dollar fraud scam.  The western media is working hard to explain that while their leaders continue to send billions to Ukraine, but we have confidence in their ability to spin the lies and narrative; so the theft is sure to continue while the Ukraine soldiers continue to die.  Nothing good is happening in the Middle East either; and Israel is behind or leading the way for most of the horrors there.  After the bombing in India on Monday, there has now been a similar bombing in Pakistan; and that hot-spot could flare up again too.  Our leaders may have opened up another disaster zone thanks to their actions against Venezuela; and we’re seeing other countries in the region pivoting away from the United States.  For one example, Columbia has shut down intelligence sharing with us in response to the threats we’ve made against them; and they might side with Venezuela if our armed forces attack.  Venezuela has also put their military on high alert, and while they’d have no chance against our military at the start of an attack; Venezuela would be a worse nightmare than Afghanistan was for us to try and occupy them and take control.  Yes, we could destroy them – just as we’ve done to so many other countries, but we shouldn’t do that; and we will regret it if we try.

That’s enough for tonight.  Ehlana and I really want to get some sleep now; so that’s all for today.

Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
