Ethan and Ehlana:
We have our adult weekend guests here tonight, but no teens or kids – mostly because we all decided on a quiet, early night after being up a bit late the last two nights. This has been a damp, cool day; and it isn’t looking great for tomorrow either. The parade will still go on despite the rain, though, and we’re expecting the picnic to be at the school due to the forecast rain. We mostly had showers off-and-on today, but it was wet-enough for the church service to be at the church; and then we mostly played indoors this afternoon with just a couple of short outings between the rain showers. Afternoon gaming was at the Carringtons today; we hosted movies in the lounge that teen couples chose for the cuddle opportunities; and we all went to the last buffet of the day at the Inn at six o’clock. That was the culinary highlight of the day, but we did have a good breakfast with everyone that stayed last night; and then the family lunches were split up among a handful of homes and cottages. That doesn’t add up to the most-exciting holiday weekend Sunday ever, but we have had a good day; and now we’re ready to get some sleep soon.
Ehlana and I came home from the Inn to do some chores; bath or Jacuzzi time followed that; and we did a quick music practice to get ready for tomorrow. Now we’re wrapping up our computer checks and twin chat recap of the day; and don’t have much in the way of world news to offer because there just isn’t much happening to change the worst stories that we normally cover. The Russia-Ukraine prisoner exchange that was agreed to was completed this weekend, but there doesn’t seem to be any progress on the peace talks; and the fighting seems to be intensifying again. The Middle East continues to be a mess; and there is very little news coming out of India or Pakistan on how their negotiations are going to resolve their current issues.
We do want to report that Gwyneth Hathorne is graduating from Princeton with her doctorates; and we’re only a bit jealous that she’s finished school now while we’ll just be ‘graduating’ to high school in September! That’s only partly-true; since we don’t want to miss out on all of the great things that go along with growing up normally with our friends!
It is time for us to call it a night and get some sleep, though, so that’s all for this update!
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
