Ethan and Ehlana:
We had a lot of fun last night with that welcome home dinner – even with all of the work; game night at the Inn was a blast that included Mom and Miranda winning the senior title; and then we kept our four best friends for a co-ed sleepover that we did at our house because Cassie and Michael were tired by then and didn’t want to stay up late with us! ;^)
This is another early update because we have incoming holiday weekend guests; and plan on being busy for the rest of the day. Tai Chi by the river was chilly this morning but more-fun with our best friends. Our academic adventures were of the usual Memorial Day holiday weekend kind except we did the town clean-up and placed the flags at the cemetery this morning because we’ve had rain all afternoon. We worked on that until the rain started, so we had a late Pizzeria pizza lunch back at school; and our class ended up watching a war-related movie instead of doing any lessons after that.
Now we’re getting ready for the incoming guests – though many of them are here already at cottages or elsewhere. We’ll likely have Jayden here for a night or two, but we’re only hosting two sets of Rice grandparents while everyone else will be at cottages or other family homes. We’ll have most of the Rice clan here; and parts of the Johnson and McEwan families. Uncle Blaine, Aunt Alison, and their kids are here already – as are the Malloys; since there are some meetings going on today for the new bridge project and the work for the cottages and retirement community houses.
It’s time for us to get started on our holiday weekend fun now, though, so that’s all for this report.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
