Heirs of the Magi News Flash!

***Heirs of the Magi News Flash!*** The annual fall festival is now behind us, and Cassie and Michael are heading out on their fall trip - this time to the South Pacific! They'll miss out on the Halloween fun at home and the rest of the high school football season, but all of that time in tropical paradises will likely be worth those little sacrifices! Some favorite grandparents will be away for adventures in Arizona or elsewhere too, but our favorite Magi staying at home are sure to have a lot of fun anyway. We'll have all of the adventure highlights from home and away right here for you each day; so... ...Visit Witch Falls often to keep up with all of our latest stories; and Happy Reading! P.S. Thank-you to everyone enjoying our stories from Witch Falls as we have passed five-hundred thousand views!

Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - May 13, 2025

Ethan and Ehlana:

Beth-Ann’s party was a hit with her friends, and even Zack and Eli managed to play nice all evening.  We did a lot of work before and after the birthday dinner; added in live music for Beth-Ann’s mini dance; and then Ehlana and I brought our four best friends home with us while Beth-Ann kept her best friends for the night after the rest of her guests headed for their homes at around eleven o’clock.  We loved the co-ed sleepover bonus; didn’t stay up too late; and our morning was great thanks to the extra exercise buddies for Tai Chi and then for breakfast with Mom and Dad.  Our academic adventures were good with some outdoor play time; we had band practice after school where we had one of our last practices before the Memorial Day parade; and then we had a quick dinner with Mom and Dad before heading to the lab or archives for the evening.  We got a lot of work done; used a time phase to make that happen; and now we’re tired and ready to get some sleep.

The top news stories from around the world today are about President Trump’s visit to Saudi Arabia; Ukraine-Russia peace talks that may or may not happen in Turkey; and a trade deal with China that seems to be more of a tariff pause to allow for actual negotiations.  All of that news is about talk, though, while the killing and destruction rolls along in all of the current hotspots.  We’ll keep hoping for real changes and the end of wars, but until we actually see peace on the ground; we won’t trust the rhetoric that gets spouted to distract people while nothing changes.

We are tired and ready to sleep now, so that’s all for tonight; and maybe we’ll be surprised by some good news tomorrow!

Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
