Happy 12th Anniversary, Uncle Mark and Aunt Grace!
We aren’t going to offer much of an update today because we’re busy and don’t want to spend much time on our computers when we need to get back to the adventures with our family and friends. The teen night that we hosted last night was great; some of us managed to wrap up the night with some quality – if short – co-ed nap time in the lounge or elsewhere; and we had fun with everything from the barbeque and sides dinner through the games and movies to the down time that didn’t start for most of us until the wee hours of this morning.
After our nap break, we were up early for Tai Chi by the river – though the grass was damp after the overnight rain; and then we were busy with a major breakfast that was multi-tasked with taking turns getting ready for church. The holiday weekend service was at the church because everything at the park was wet; and the teen-led music and messages were as-amazing as always. We’re home now; helping out with chores and loading up vehicles for the guests that will be leaving after we attend the two o’clock buffet sitting at the Inn; and we’re doing that now because more rain is expected off-and-on for the rest of the day. We’ll still have some time to play before the buffet, but then we’ll be going to Cassie and Michael’s for the rest of the day after our visit to the Inn because they’re going to host a teen night with many of our visiting cousins. We really need to include updates for our cousins, but maybe we’ll do that tomorrow night – depending on what we end up planning for the day. The rest of our news of the day can wait, though, so we’re going to wrap this up and get back to the ‘real’ world fun. Even with some unwanted rain, we’ve still had an amazing holiday weekend; and we hope that your ‘now’ is as-filled with love and happiness as we are blessed with every day!
