Ethan and Ehlana:
Happy 24th Birthday, Adaira Reynolds!
We haven’t have anything to do with Adaira’s special day, but Cassie and Michael are going to be at her dinner and party; and we’re sure that her husband, family, and friends will make sure that she has an awesome day!
Since our last update, we had fun last night with another barbeque dinner; the park play during the co-ed ball practice; and the outdoor movies. We were up late again last night with the co-ed, late-night swim, teen chat time, and co-ed cuddling; and then we had time for a nap before we were up again this morning for Tai Chi by the river.
Breakfast with the campers was busy; we packed up the tents and our gear; and continued to help with the younger kids until we all needed to be at the Inn for the luncheon that our collective grandparents were hosting for the visiting cousins. That was a food highlight of the day, and then we were given a break from the younger kids while they spent the rest of the day with grandparents or other cousins, aunts, and uncles. We went for a bike ride with the older kids and some teens and headed out on the southern trail – a first for some of our guests. We didn’t bike all the way to the rail trail that our trail meets with, but we road an hour out of town; came back; and then hopped into the river because we were hot, dusty, and ready to cool down.
That brings us up to now. All of our visiting cousins have other plans for the rest of the day, so Ehlana and I are hosting a co-ed night with Naomi and Aiden. They’re rounding up overnight bags; and we’re taking care of our computer checks and getting ready for the rest of the day before going to help Mom with making dinner. We love all of the fun we’re having with our cousins and friends, but a quieter night works for us too. Jayden is with the Everetts tonight, but we want to mention that he is not spending time with Susan Connor or any of the other girls around our age this summer because he has a girlfriend back at home. I am not going to comment on the girl chat fun related to Jayden, but expect future teasing and jokes directed his way – especially since his sisters did both choose hometown boys! Ehlana and I do need to get back to real life now; so let’s wrap this up and just take another break from world news commentary. There haven’t been any positive changes anyway; so we’ll stay happier by just filing those news stories into memory files and moving on right now.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
