Ethan and Ehlana:
Our respective nights with Aiden or Naomi and their families were great – if different; and Ehlana wins for best quality time with her boyfriend while Naomi and I didn’t get much alone time but had fun with her parents, brother, Zack, and Naomi’s cousins. There were some similarities to our adventures, but there was more video gaming at the Seagers; and Naomi and I didn’t get to have a co-ed sleepover because the guys played video games again after the movie until very late while girls in the house went to bed hours earlier. Naomi and I went over to meet up with Ehlana, Aiden, and the gang with Cassie and Michael for Tai Chi by the river; we were split up for breakfast; and then we were all at church for the service and Sunday school.
We had a good morning at church; there were smaller luncheons while some of our aunts and uncles took care of driving younger cousins out to meet-up points with their parents; and we had a lazy play afternoon with biking, canoeing, swimming, and park play through until we went to the Inn for the late buffet. That was our last big adventure for the weekend; and we didn’t book any overnight guests because we were ready for a break and earlier bedtime. Cassie and Michael came home with us from the Inn for a last visit before they head out on their trip in the morning; we took care of some work in the office and a Magi lesson; and then we moved on to bath or Jacuzzi time at ten o’clock. Now we’re busy with the twin chat and bedtime computer checks, but we’re keeping that short and will head off to bed soon.
There isn’t anything we really need to cover for world or political news, but the nonsense rolls on; and there seems to be a never-ending supply of pointless drama with recycled stories thrown in along with the rest of the trash. Most of it is likely nothing more than manufactured nonsense; and we continue to be amazed at the amount of time wasted while nothing real is done to fix actual, serious issues. Instead of going on about any of those stories, we’re just going to wrap this up and call it a night. Stay tuned, since we’re sure to have a busy week ahead with just the older cousins and our collective gangs of friends. While you do that; Ehlana and I will go get some sleep to be back at full-power by morning.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
