Ethan and Ehlana:
We’re currently on the way home from Crystal Springs and this quick little update is another placeholder report. Since our last journal entry, we enjoyed the dinner with Mom and our friends; game night at the Inn – the last ahead of the summer break – was great and in addition to Mom helping Miranda with the senior title victory; Naomi and I won the junior title and she is very happy to have to be reigning champion until September! We watched a movie and enjoyed the co-ed cuddle time last night before getting to the co-ed nap time; and we were up early today to get ready for the big shopping trip. The buffet breakfast at the Inn was amazing; and then the trip to Crystal Springs went fast. The shopping at the mall kept us busy all morning; we had lunch at the food court; and then we had options for the afternoon shopping that for our group included a toy store visit; an outlet plaza; and a supply stop at Wal-Mart. In addition to summer clothes; we picked up the usual gifts to get us through the summer for birthdays and other celebrations; and then we picked up fast food to go for the trip home. Once we get back, the girls are going to check out the annual sales for the major shopping trip days; and the guys will help out with the deliveries and unpacking. Michael and Dad are going to do some of the driving for that; so Aiden and I will have fun – and are good with missing out on even more shopping tonight.
The rest of our story can wait for our next update – including the ongoing war reports. Ehlana and I will be keeping Naomi and Aiden for the night, but there is a good chance that at least some of us will fall asleep before getting far into a bedtime movie; so there might not be much more to write about anyway. We’ll let you know how that goes, but that’s all I have for now; so I’m out of here and back to the drive-time chat and travel fun that doesn’t include co-ed cuddling for me because I’m the odd teen out on this return trip because Naomi and I ‘lost’ the co-ed cuddle lottery; and she opted to sit with Ehlana and Aiden on the back bench in the mini-van while I’m up front next to Mom. We are overdue for a turn for that, but now I’m just dragging this out for no reason; so that’s all for today.
