Heirs of the Magi News Flash!

***Heirs of the Magi News Flash!*** The annual fall festival is now behind us, and Cassie and Michael are heading out on their fall trip - this time to the South Pacific! They'll miss out on the Halloween fun at home and the rest of the high school football season, but all of that time in tropical paradises will likely be worth those little sacrifices! Some favorite grandparents will be away for adventures in Arizona or elsewhere too, but our favorite Magi staying at home are sure to have a lot of fun anyway. We'll have all of the adventure highlights from home and away right here for you each day; so... ...Visit Witch Falls often to keep up with all of our latest stories; and Happy Reading! P.S. Thank-you to everyone enjoying our stories from Witch Falls as we have passed five-hundred thousand views!

Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - June 15, 2025

Ethan and Ehlana:

Happy Father’s Day to all of our favorite Dads!

We’re about to head to the Inn for the late buffet with our family and friends; so we need to keep this short.

The outdoor movies and camping last night were great; and we won’t comment on the happy fathers that got to have a kid-free night!  Tai Chi was more-fun again today; breakfast was an adventure that included quite a few extra fathers joining us for that meal; and then Pastor Martha gave the Dads in the congregation her annual short message and service gift – which is why we didn’t have Sunday school either and were on our way home again just forty minutes after the start of the service!  The Carringtons hosted the barbeque lunch, but we had a smaller group for that because most of our friends had other places to be with their own families.  That’s why most of the tents got packed up before lunch too; and then we had a play afternoon with our families.  That was plural; since we had fun with some of the Draper and Seager clans as well as with our own family; and we met up with others at the park, on the river, and while biking the trails.  We loved the swimming, canoeing, biking, and park play; so it has been a really awesome day.  The special buffet at the Inn will be the culinary highlight of our day; and then Ehlana and I will only have our four best friends with us for camping tonight while our cousins and friends are busy doing their own things – whether that’s camping elsewhere or other plans.  That works for us; and we’re looking forward to the quieter night – especially when we’ll get up early tomorrow to see Dad off on his trip to the city.

Let’s stop there and skip the world news update.  It has not been a good Father’s Day elsewhere in the world, but we want to stay happy and be grateful for our blessings.  We can get back to reality tomorrow; and we will update you on those top, worst stories again tomorrow night.  For now; we are simply going to enjoy another awesome evening with our family and friends; and we’ll have the rest of that story for you tomorrow night too.

Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
