***Heirs of the Magi News Flash!*** September 5, 2026 marks the 15th Anniversary of the Heirs of the Magi Blog! We want to take the opportunity to thank everyone for visiting and enjoying the adventures and stories from our favorite Magi Masters and their family and friends! We are also humbled to announce that just three months after reaching the one-million visitors milestone; we have now already doubled that number to pass the two-million milestone! That is a long way from where we started on September 5, 2011; and we are grateful for all of the support! Here in our magical little corner of the world, summer is ending and while Ethan, Ehlana, and their cousins and friends head back to school; most parents will enjoy the daily breaks while their work and play will transition into the normal fall schedules. Cassie and Michael will be getting ready for their fall work trip; and the adventures will continue if big and small ways as we head into the autumn months of 2026. Ehlana and Ethan:

Happy 23rd Birthday, Dawn Rice!

We gave Dawn her gifts to take with her while she was here for the holiday weekend, and couldn’t talk with her today because she’s out of the country and working; so we’ll hope that she is having an awesome day – even with all of the work-play time in the air.

Here at home, we’ve had a mostly-quiet day so far, but now we’re only home to drop off our gear and get ready to head out to Pinehurst with the school band; so we only have time for a placeholder report.  We’ll be busy with the parade and Christmas festivities for the rest of the day and then we’ll host our four best friends for a co-ed sofa sleepover; so stay tuned for those stories whenever we get around to writing about them; and we’ll move on now and leave you with our Christmas music video pick of the day while getting started on another amazing blast of weekend adventures that are sure to be Christmassy and amazing!
