Ehlana and Ethan:
We have had an amazing Christmas! While we could write all about gifts, special dinners, and all of the fun we’ve had; let’s just sum it all up and report that everything was awesome! We were also very, very busy all day while juggling families, dinners, and spending some time with our friends; and then we each enjoyed our separate sleepovers with Naomi or Aiden.
As for today, Aiden and I started our day taking care of Hailey and Leah; we took care of some chores that ended up being at a total of three homes. We collected Naomi and Ethan along the way; and eventually met up with Sophia and Aaron for some post-Christmas shopping at the Galleria and some of the other stores. We had lunch together – Pizzeria pizza; met up with more friends and cousins; and went out for some biking on the main trails and park play fun. Jayden joined us for that afternoon fun after getting here with his parents, sisters, and their boyfriends; and they’re here either through the weekend or beyond. Uncle Blaine is here early for the usual local work and meetings; and the Malloys have arrived at their cottage now – also so that Uncle Terry can work too ahead of the family holiday weekend.
This update is coming at you now because Ethan and I are hosting a teen night and sleepover; so we’ll be busy for the rest of the day. We also need to go and help Mom with dinner prep work before everyone we’ve collectively invited begin arriving. Thanks to all of the love and fun, we’re also going to skip any of the bad world news reports of the day or week; so that’s all for today. The Christmas music videos won’t be back again until next December, but feel free to keep that kind of joy and love in your hearts and lives while we get back to our holiday adventures with family and friends!
