Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - April 18, 2023

Ethan, Ehlana, Naomi, and Aiden:

Happy 56th Birthday, Jacob Stone!

We’re staying with Naomi tonight while Mom is in the city – and helping out with celebrating Jacob’s birthday along with Miranda and some other friends as well as spending a couple of nights with Dad.  Our only involvement in Jacob’s special day was a cameo visit before school while we were all at the Inn for breakfast.  Tai Chi was by the river this morning too, so between that and the special breakfast; we had a great start to our day!  The warmer weather was awesome too; so we got to have bonus outdoor time at school too.  We’ll also mention that Silkie is doing a sleepover tonight too, but with Brianna and her puppy instead of with us.  Aunt Leanne took care of Silkie after Mom left too; so our dog may be having an even-better day than we’ve had so far! ;^)

Moving along, our academic adventures were great; we biked and played with our friends after school; Naomi’s parents opted for a Pizzeria pizza and sides dinner; and we had that meal outdoors because we could!  We – the tweens – took care of the clean-up; we all went for an evening bike ride; and wrapped up the family time with an action movie that wasn’t big on plot and had a lot of fighting, car chases, and blowing stuff up to make up for the lack of plot.  Zack is here with Eli too, but they’ve played nice tonight; and they’re busy now with gaming in Eli’s room while we’re winding down toward nap time with some quality co-ed cuddling while we listen to music videos, catch up on our computing, and chat about our day and plans for tomorrow.

That’s all we have for our own day, and while we know that the parents in the city had dinner and play plans for tonight, we haven’t heard any details; and probably won’t want to hear most of those stories anyway.  We are interested in getting to our co-ed sofa sleepovers soon, though, and really don’t need to add anything else to this report; so we’re out of here!

Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
