Ethan and Ehlana:
This has been our third day in a row of sun and extra fun while enjoying the warm weather. Today’s high flirted with eighty; so you won’t be surprised to find out that we spent a lot of time outdoors – from Tai Chi through to game night at the Inn. Our morning workout was by the river; half of our classes today were taken outside; and our after-school biking included a first look at and ride on a short section of the new trail being built heading south from the town. We’re going to love that trail as much as the one to Quarry Lake once it is built; and we’re looking forward to the expanded ‘safe’ biking range we’ll have through our teen years! ;^)
Naomi and Aiden stayed with us for an easy-dinner with Mom and Dad; we took care of the clean-up; and then we all went to the Inn for game night. We had a blast at the Inn; didn’t win any prizes for our families; and then we stopped to get Silkie and went for a walk while seeing Naomi and Aiden home and having visits along the way there and back again. Since getting home, we did a Magi lesson with Mom, just a bit of family business work, and bath or Jacuzzi time. It is now getting late, and we’re pretty much ready to get some sleep, so that’s all we have for tonight; and we’ll go and do that now.
