Happy April Fools’ Day!
Some people have suggested that Mother Nature got in on the pranking fun today, but while it was cooler today, it was still sunny too; and the high in the mid-fifties wasn’t awful – even as we’re wishing for warmer days again!
We don’t have any major pranks to report today; and that’s mostly because it isn’t a school day. That works for us, since we’re not interested in that kind of fun – and Zack and Eli will survive the disappointment! ;^)
Moving along, we had a lot of fun last night with the family-and-friends’ dinner and play time. The highlights included the food; park play and biking; and some backyard games. Our sleepover at Naomi’s started at around nine o’clock; we watched a movie with her parents; and then the co-ed sofa sleepover was definitely a favorite part of our day! Our morning started with outdoor Tai Chi; we had an early breakfast before Naomi’s Mom headed for the salon; and then we were kept busy with chores at three houses for the rest of the morning. Our parents set us free to play for the afternoon after the lunch that Mom and Dad hosted; we biked and played at the park and on the trails; and then Ehlana and I came home when Naomi and Aiden needed to return to their families for the rest of the day.
Since getting home, we helped Mom with making dinner; we enjoyed that meal with Dad; and then our evening has included a Magi lesson, some family business work, and a music practice before we wrapped up our adventures with bath or Jacuzzi time and this last blast of computing to go along with our bedtime twin chat. We’ve had a good first day of April without any major news; and we’re happy as we’re winding down toward nap time. That’s also all we have for this report, so we’ll wrap it up; and move on until we are ready to get to the sleeping party of our day.
