Happy 8th Anniversary, Grandpa
Grant and Grandma Eleanor!
Jenna had a girls-only party this
afternoon, so Naomi and I went to that after doing our tests this morning; and
Ethan and Aiden spent that time biking the trails and going for a short, cool
swim in the river. It has been another
hot day, so that was awesome for all of us, but we aren’t camping tonight
because we have rain and thunderstorms in the forecast. Ethan and Aiden took care of packing up the
tent and our gear too; so that worked out well for Naomi and me too. I didn’t get home until after dinner, but
Ethan was happy to get our parents, Cassie, Michael, and May to himself; and
they had an easy-meal with grilled meats and cold salad sides – not much
different from what Naomi and I had at Jenna’s party.
That’s really all of the news we have for
today. It has been a quiet evening here
while we all either worked or studied in the office or lounge. We had a music practice too, but kept that
short; and just finished with bath or Jacuzzi time that we needed after two
nights of camping and hot play and party days.
This has been another awesome day, so let’s keep in a happy mood; and
not get into any of the bad news that seems to be everywhere in any form of
news media.
Maybe we just need a global good news
network. We’d all be a lot happier if we
focused on the best parts of life – even if we do that while fixing all of the
problems! ;^)
