Ehlana and Ethan:
Happy 25th Birthday, Violet!
We didn’t have a major celebration, but
there is going to be a socially-distanced barbeque dinner that Mom and Dad are hosting
at our house, and we’re on the pre-dinner work crew; so this is going to be a
short report.
The hot and sunny trend continued today, so
we’ve been playing and having fun pretty much since breakfast – and before, if
you include the riverside Tai Chi for nine.
There was more swimming so far today and a bit less biking; mostly
because the girls in our socially-distanced groups didn’t feel like competing
with Miles and Joshua. They were being
especially-annoying today, and while we are glad to spend more time together –
if at a distance; quite a few of our friends are feeling the need for adventure
beyond the borders of our little town.
That isn’t going to happen for most of us
anytime soon, and we don’t want to get into a long commentary on anything; so
let’s wrap this up so that we can move on to the dinner party prep work. We’re looking good for at least one more
camping night, so we’re happy about that; our plans for tonight include a canoe
ride that might turn into a family event; and there might be a campfire too;
since our weekend might be a bit on the wet side. We’ll let you know how all of that goes for
us in the next report, but that’s all for now; so we’re out of here and back to
the real world.
