Happy Belated 19th Birthday,
Julian Sparks!
We’re mentioning that now because Jillian
is here for the weekend – after spending Julian’s birthday with him in Crystal
Springs yesterday; and that’s a surprise for us because Jillian is also here to
help May with weekend babysitting while the aunts, uncles, Cassie, and Michael
are away for Chris and Sadie’s wedding tomorrow.
That’s why we’re going to be having most of
the cousins here and camping at our house – along with Naomi, Aiden, and some
other friends. We’ll also be doing a
barbeque dinner with help from some parents tonight; and a pizzeria pizza
dinner tomorrow night. We’ll likely have
campfires both nights, and with most of our usual musicians away; we’ll likely
be providing the entertainment – again with help from Naomi and Aiden.
If we’re a hit; then maybe there will be a
band in our tween and teen future! ;^)
It has been another awesome weather day; we’ve
played for most of it – except when it was time to say goodbye to the parents,
Cassie, and Michael; and now we’re transitioning between the biking and
swimming we just finished to helping out full-time with our younger cousins
while the adults deal with making dinner.
There is still a lot of fun ahead of us, but we’re going to put our
computers away for the rest of the day; and just have fun with our family and
friends.
The news from the rest of the world can
happen without us – or without our commentary – for another day while we enjoy
being parent-free kids!
