Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - December 3, 2019

Ethan:

The Moms’ shopping trip to the city was the news story of the day, so I’m going to leave this update to Ehlana; and only take care of our Christmas music pick for the night.  It’s one of our animated favorites; and one of the holiday specials that we’ve already watched this year because it is also a favorite of Brianna’s and Faith’s too.

Ethan – out!

Ehlana:

Nice pick, Ethan! ;^)

While Mom, Aunt Leanne, and all of the other mothers and grandmothers going with them to Crystal Springs had fun with their shopping adventure, we had a much-quieter day here at home.  School was still really good, and we loved getting back into the lab and archives after school.  Pizzeria pizza with Dad for dinner and a work and study evening was a highlight of our day, but while we helped out a bit with unloading the minivan when Mom got home, for some reason; she wouldn’t let us help with all of that work.  She was tired by then, but we still had a visit in the office and a short Magi lesson before she headed upstairs to her Jacuzzi for a long soak.  Ethan and I stayed with Dad for more studying, but we don’t need to write about why our father seemed to lose interest in his own work after that.

We eventually wrapped up the work earlier than planned; I opted for some Jacuzzi time after that too; and now I’m ready to get some sleep.  Now I just need to try not to dream of Christmas morning, since that can sometimes lead to ‘seeing’ things that we’re not supposed to know about ahead of time!

This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live from what is now my past!
