Ethan's and ehlana's Journals - December 13, 2019

Ethan:

It’s Friday the 13th in December, but if that was supposed to be scary or dangerous for us; it wasn’t.  We had a happy last school day of the week; added in another blast of warmer-weather biking and outdoor play time with our friends; and then we’ve had a quiet evening here at home while waiting for Cassie, Michael, and May to get home.  That fun included dinner for six; Christmas movies in the lounge; and Olde Bakery, Christmassy snacks.  We’re taking a break now because our favorite collegian will be home soon; and we’re doing our journal update because we won’t have time for that later – and Naomi is hoping to get away with another sofa sleepover that I will be happy to help her out with if that idea isn’t vetoed by the parents. ;^)

That’s all I have; it’s been an awesome day; and I’ll add in any news that might happen during the rest of the night in our next report.

Ethan – out!

Ehlana:

The highlights of my day included the Christmas music time at school; the play time with our friends – at least if we exclude the annoyances from a few of the guys; and our fun with Mom, Dad, Naomi, and Aiden tonight.  We won’t get to spend a lot of time with Cassie, Michael, and May tonight, but having them home is enough for now; and we will get to spend a lot of the weekend with them because they’ll save up some of their first round of hang-out time with Michael’s family until they’re off from work next week and while we’re at school anyway.

My Christmas music picks for tonight are from A Cinderella Story – Christmas Wish – one of our favorite Christmas shows for this year.

This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live from what is now my past!
