Ehlana's and Ethan's Journals - September 16, 2024

Ehlana and Ethan:

Dad and Anna Marie headed for the city early this morning and we were up to see them on the way; and then we had a little nap before getting up again for Tai Chi by the river.  We had a hot breakfast; Ethan headed off to his morning workout; and I eventually met up with Naomi when it was time to head for school.  For the record, Ethan and Aiden are continuing their morning workouts with the football team, but since he isn’t currently writing these updates; I won’t be mentioning that part of his story every time.

Our academic adventures were pretty good today; Ethan and I play-worked at the lab or archives after school; and then we had dinner with Mom before our four best friends came over for a study session that included a group Magi lesson.  That couple of hours was great and a highlight of our day; we walked Naomi and Aiden to their homes while taking Silkie out; and then we did some charity work in the office with Mom.  Time phasing helped with getting more done tonight, but also has added hours to our day; so we’re getting tired.  Ethan and I have still done our usual bedtime computer checks; and sometimes wish that we could just skip that part of our day and live a little happier in ignorance when stupidity continues to rule while so many people are suffering or dying for the dumbest of reasons.  We don’t want to write about those war stories again tonight, but for the record; we really do not understand where all of the anti-war protesters have gone.  Sure, there is also a war on free speech to go along with the physical conflicts, but peace protesters have had worse to deal with in the past that went far-beyond social media censorship!

Okay, I need to stop that now before I do get into a major rant.  Ethan and I need to get some sleep now; so we’re out of here and off to nap time.

Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
