Ehlana's and Ethan's Journals - September 7, 2024

Ehlana and Ethan:

Happy 13th Birthday, Miles Sheldon!

Sure, Miles’ special day is supposed to be our top story of the day, but since we’re heading to his party soon; that news will need to be part of our next update.  Since we don’t have any birthday news yet, we can report that our football team won their game against Maple Valley; and Aaron had two touchdowns and led the way to the twenty-seven to twenty-three victory.  The game was very competitive; and basically came down to the extra touchdown over Maple Valley settling for field goals.  Ethan managed to watch some of the game when not watching Naomi.  I could have some fun with commenting on the reality that Naomi is getting a lot of attention from other guys, but Ethan doesn’t need to keep an eye on her for that; and Naomi goes out of her way to make sure that everyone around them knows that Ethan is her boyfriend.  That is entirely because my brother gets noticed by other girls; so Ethan is sure to be very happy for the foreseeable future!

After the game, we came home with Aiden and Sophia; waited for Naomi and Aaron to join us after they were finished with team or cheer squad duties.  Once we were all together, watching a movie was mostly background noise while we talked about the game, our weekend plans, and more teen-related fun.  We stayed up too late; Aiden and I ‘won’ the floor-nest sweepstakes when we did get around to co-ed nap time; and then we were all out for the count for the handful of hours until morning.

Tai Chi by the river and a hot breakfast with extra exercise buddies made for a great start to the day; and we’ve been working on chores since then.  We were able to do that as a team until lunchtime; Sophia and Aaron moved on after that; and we’ve kept busy until we needed to hit the showers and get ready for Miles’ party.  He is not doing a major camping night, but this is a co-ed party; and we’ll be providing some of the music entertainment with our four best friends.  Ethan is also going to be with Naomi for the night and I’m going to bring Aiden home with me; so we won’t be doing any computing for the rest of the day.  It is nearly time for us to head out and meet up with Naomi and Aiden along the way; so that’s all we have for today.  Stay tuned for the rest of our story from today while we get out there and live the adventures.

Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
