Happy 39th Birthday, Aunt Grace!
We collectively had a birthday dinner for Aunt Grace, and there was more birthday fun for her throughout the day, but our focus was on our tests today and the studying for our last tests tomorrow. The Carringtons hosted that family-and-friends’ dinner, and we had fun while there, but our school-age cousins needed to study after school and this evening too; so the parents took care of most of the fun – and the work too. Aunt Grace and Uncle Mark are getting a kid-free night too while Caleb is with Sebastian and Faith is with Brianna for the rest of the night. We don’t need any further details; and won’t likely get them anyway because we won’t see our aunt and uncle before we hit the road for St. Louis tomorrow – for May and Lee’s wedding weekend.
Cassie, Michael, Rowen, and Tim left early this morning to get there early for their friends; and got to St. Louis by around noon. Look for more on that story over the next few updates, but other than packing for our trip; we don’t have any wedding-related news to offer yet.
The party, studying, and extra work around here has led to a later night than we’d hoped for, though, so it is time for us to call it a night and get some sleep. Stay tuned, since our lives are going to get busier for the next few days; and we’re really looking forward to our first visit to St. Louis and getting to be with Cassie, Michael, and some of their favorite college friends!
