Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - May 9, 2023

Ethan and Ehlana:

Happy 3rd Birthday, Gregory Denninger!

We’ve had another awesome, too-busy day, and we need to get some sleep soon; so let’s get to this update!

Our involvement in Gregory’s birthday was only with the gift we sent to him; and we hope that he’s had a good day.  For us, Tai Chi by the river makes for a great start to our adventures now that it is warm-enough in the mornings for that to be comfortable.  We went with an easy-breakfast; our academic adventures included almost half of our day outdoors; and then we helped out with the last round of work at Rowen and Tim’s apartment after school and then after our ball practices.

Baseball practices were again multi-tasked with a Pizzeria pizza picnic dinner at the park.  We helped out with the younger cousins and ate before our practice; and then the five-thirty ball-playing cousins took over the food offerings while we had our workouts at the park or school.  Being messy wasn’t a problem for our evening work because we were dealing with garbage, recycling, and other messes.  We’re happy to report that the apartment is ready to go for Rowen and Tim as planned; and Cassie and Michael’s house will be ready to go too once another round of chores gets done tomorrow.

Our day was not finished after that – we came home and got cleaned up; worked in the office with Mom and Dad using a time phase; and once again got a lot done while getting ready for our weekend away.  The family business and charity details are available elsewhere, so we won’t repeat those stories here; and that’s all we have for tonight – this morning.  Cassie may have been used to late nights by the time she was our age, and we can do this when needed, but it really is time to crash and nap now; so we’re out of here!

Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
