Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - May 15, 2023

Ethan and Ehlana:

We’ve had another day with some rain and it was cooler too, but other than cancelling some ball practices; the weather didn’t get in the way of our adventures.  The rain actually worked for us; since we got to spend more time with Cassie and Michael after school and for part of the evening before they moved on to spend time with his family.

Our day began with seeing Dad off on his trip to the city.  A short nap followed; Tai Chi was by the river because the rain didn’t start until later; and then we went with a standard school day breakfast before heading over to the school for a blast of academic adventures.  We knew by the time we went home that Brianna and Faith’s ball practice was cancelled, so after a quick stop at home; we headed over to Cassie and Michael’s house and got put to work with setting up and arranging furniture – a job that they’d been having fun with this morning and afternoon with help from Mom and others.  Dinner was at their house – a pot-luck meal that was put together by parents, grandparents, and other guests.  We helped out with kid control for that meal; stayed and worked after that until eight o’clock; and then we came home with Mom while Cassie and Michael went to meet up with Jake, Stephanie, and their kids once they were done at the Inn.

Mom did a Magi lesson with us; we all did some family business and charity work; and now we’re winding down toward nap time because we’ve had enough fun for today.  We really love having Cassie and Michael home again; so expect stories about them to be a big part of our reports for a while – especially since we hope to spend at least some time with them nearly every day!  That’s a happy thought to head for our beds with; so we’re out of here! ;^)

Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
