Ethan and Ehlana:
The countdown is on for the last days of Cassie’s and Michael’s college adventures! We’re going to have a short school week because we’ll be leaving on Friday morning for the graduation celebrations that will go on all weekend starting Friday afternoon; so we’re trying to get a lot done right now while we can. That didn’t keep us from having a lot of fun too. Tai Chi by the river this morning was a great start to our day; we had a good school day with bonus outdoor time; and then Mom let us go biking and play after school. We biked the trails at the park; checked out Brianna and Faith’s ball practice; and got home in time to help Mom with the barbeque dinner that Naomi and Aiden stayed to share with us.
Dad has a lot to get done this week ahead of the weekend plans and his work week in the city next week, so he stayed home and worked in the office after dinner while Mom had four helpers to deal with clean-up work at Cassie and Michael’s house and Rowen and Tim’s apartment. A lot of the work for Rowen and Tim is happening in the evenings because of the parental work schedules, but they’ll be done by Wednesday night or sooner; and the work for Cassie and Michael will be done by tomorrow – though both couples will still have a lot of move-in and set-up work that they want to do for their own places. Yes, we’ll help with that work too, but can write about that as it happens starting next week.
We got home again at a bit after ten o’clock; bath or Jacuzzi time was needed next; and then we worked in the office with Mom and Dad while in a time phase for a lot of the family business fun so that we could get ahead on that work too. It is late now, but we’re happy with what we got done; so being tired is worth the efforts. That is all we have for tonight, though, and we’re ready to crash and nap; so we will.
