Ethan and Ehlana:
Congratulations, Reid and Lily Spencer – it’s a boy! Aaron Spencer was born today; is doing well; and the Ayres and Spencer clans are celebrating tonight! Cassie and Michael have offered their best wishes and support too; joining all of Lily’s and Reid’s friends with their best wishes and some gifts.
Our day hasn’t been new-baby-great, but we have had fun. The weather warmed a dash above sixty, so that was awesome; and is why we went biking on the trail toward Quarry Lake with Naomi, Aiden, and a small gang of collegians that included Cassie and Michael. They had another study day while we were at school, and they’re out having fun elsewhere this evening, but we had a blast with the biking; Mom and Dad went with a Pizzeria pizza dinner with some finger food sides; and then Naomi and Aiden stayed for a band practice after helping with the clean-up. We just walked them to their homes and took Silkie for a bedtime walk; and now we’re ready for bed because we’re definitely going to have some late nights through the holiday weekend. We’re good with that plan, and won’t be waiting up for Michael, Cassie, and their guests to return; so that’s all for this report.
